| LEAPS is primarily an information-sharing group. The supportive meetings are designed to empower each of us with information about available resources and treatment options. We also serve to provide connections among members to alleviate the social isolation that often results from the fatigue, pain, and cognitive disruptions that Lyme can cause.
Meetings are held at the main Kaiser hospital building in Oakland at 280 West MacArthur Blvd, in one of the first three conference rooms on the 12th floor.
Parking across the street from the Kaiser building costs $5.00. Parking instructions and maps of the area can be found here.
Kaiser also provides a free shuttle bus between MacArthur BART station and the Oakland Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, Monday through Friday, 5:30am - 9:00pm.

Enter the tallest building on the campus and ask someone to direct you to the main elevator. At the 12th floor exit the elevator and turn left twice. We meet in whichever conference room is available on the left side of the hallway.
Meetings are from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM every third Thursday of the month, unless otherwise noted on the meetup site.
