Will submit other contacts at later date; We are interested in expediting outreach and to coordinate efforts among lyme support groups. Several of us who have been organized "informally" prior to this have already begun efforts directed toward disseminating information (beyond an individual to individual basis). We are about to launch a concerted effort and have made introductory contact with several politicians who have expressed willingness to provide a forum for increasing awareness concerning lyme and other tick-borne diseases. Also, we hope to focus on other diseases, in addition to lyme, because of the frequent incidence of co-infection and similarity.
